Local government activities in Šlapanice and Brno-střed

The municipality of Šlapanice has announced its 19th public municipal council meeting, scheduled for September 9, 2026. In Brno-střed, the local town hall is hosting its nearly eleventh ‘Open Town Hall’ event. The initiative aims to present the historic building, a former Dominican monastery, as a community space rather than just an administrative office. The program features guided tours, theater performances by Divadlo Mikro-teatro, music, an upcycling fashion show by Nadace Veronica, and an exhibition of art from the ‘Uprostřed města’ competition.
