Local government initiatives in Czernice Borowe and Września

Local government initiatives are underway in Poland regarding community revitalization and civil defense. In Czernice Borowe, the municipality has announced the commencement of the Municipal Revitalization Program for the years 2026–2035. Public consultations regarding the program and the establishment of a Revitalization Committee are scheduled to take place from August 25 to September 29, 2026.

In Września, the municipality has signed an agreement with the Greater Poland Voivode to secure funding for population protection and civil defense under the 2025–2026 program. The funds are designated for logistical security and supply continuity. Specifically, the municipality purchased three mobile three-phase combustion power generators for the Volunteer Fire Department in Gozdowo, the Volunteer Fire Department in Węgierki, and the Municipal Guard in Września. This equipment is intended for use during power outages, disasters, mass events, extreme weather, CBRN threats, and wartime evacuations.
