Local government initiatives in São Paulo promote women's empowerment

Municipal and state authorities in São Paulo are launching programs aimed at supporting women through skill development and safety training.

In Capivari, the Secretariat for Women's Policies, in partnership with local departments, is hosting a free entrepreneurship workshop titled ‘Seja Dona da sua Trajetória’. The session focuses on leadership skills, self-knowledge, and economic independence to help women strengthen their entrepreneurial competencies. Registration is limited to 40 participants.

In Limeira, the Secretariat of Public Security and Civil Defense, alongside the Century Team Limeira Academy, is offering a free female self-defense workshop. The program provides practical guidance on identifying risk situations and preventing dangerous approaches to enhance personal safety in daily life.
