Regional governments expand public services and digital administration

Various regional governments and municipal authorities are implementing initiatives to improve public service accessibility and administrative efficiency.

In Argentina, several provinces are expanding local services. In Machagai, the Ministry of Government, Justice, Labor and Human Rights conducted a DNI operation to provide free identity documentation. In Bandera Bajada, a new Civil Registry office has opened to serve the Figueroa department, reducing the need for residents to travel to larger cities. Additionally, the 'Tenemos Futuro' housing program is conducting draws for neighborhood housing and assisted self-construction modules across 37 localities.

In other regions, authorities are focusing on digitalization and specialized care. The government of San Luis is promoting online municipal procedures for urban development and construction permits. In Córdoba, officials are emphasizing the digitalization of business permits to reduce bureaucracy. Meanwhile, in Río Grande, new mental health resources have been established to address problematic consumption through an integrated approach involving assistance, prevention, and training.
