Local governments announce public hearings for 2027 budgets

The Municipality of Vendas Novas in Portugal has invited citizens to participate in the Bombel Local Assembly on October 21. The session aims to present key measures of the 2027 Municipal Budget and facilitate public debate and suggestions regarding the future of the council.

In Brazil, the City Council of Campos dos Goytacazes has scheduled a public hearing for the 2027 Annual Budget Law (LOA). The event is set for November 9, 2026, at 10:00 AM in the Legislative Plenary. Public bodies, associations, religious organizations, and political parties may participate through a prior accreditation process.
