Local governments expand access to identity and civil registry services

Local governments in Caudete, Spain, and Atizapán de Zaragoza, Mexico, are implementing measures to facilitate identity and civil registry services for residents.

In Caudete, a mobile unit will be available on October 27 to renew and issue National Identity Documents (DNI) and passports. Residents must obtain an appointment in person at the SAC (located on the ground floor of the City Hall) between 09:00 and 14:00, Monday through Friday. The mobile unit will be stationed on Calle Jose Ruiz Ruiz, near the Centro de Mayores.

In Atizapán de Zaragoza, the Civil Registry Office 06 has reopened at the Luis Nishizawa Cultural Center. The reopening, coordinated by the municipal government and the State of Mexico, aims to provide faster access to essential services such as birth certificates, civil marriages, death certificates, divorce records, and CURP processing, reducing the need for residents to travel to the municipal headquarters.
