Local governments in Bogor and Bojonegoro pass new regional regulations

In Bogor, the Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) and the City Government have officially ratified two regional regulations (Perda). These laws govern the management of traditional markets and population administration (adminduk). The market regulation aims to protect the livelihoods of small traders and local economic chains against modern retail competition, while the administration regulation is intended to improve public service quality.

In Bojonegoro, the Regency Government and the DPRD reached an agreement on a draft regulation regarding the protection of women and children who are victims of violence. During the same plenary session, the 2027 Regional Budget (RAPBD) was discussed. The Bojonegoro administration has set several macro-economic targets for 2027, including a poverty rate of 9.8 percent and an unemployment rate of 4 percent, with projected regional spending of approximately Rp5.08 trillion.
