Local governments launch community welfare programs in Venezuela and Mexico

Local governments in Venezuela and Mexico have implemented community outreach programs to provide essential services and resources to residents.

In the Piar Municipality of Venezuela, Mayor Mariángelys Tillero led food distribution drives in Guanaguana and Taguaya. Through the ‘Ferias del Campo Soberano’ and mobile grocery stores, approximately 1,050 families received basic food supplies. The initiative was coordinated with Mercal and Funda Proal to reach vulnerable sectors.

In Ario de Rosales, Michoacán, Mayor Yohana Mendoza participated in the ‘Feria del Bienestar’. This event brought various federal and state services directly to the community, including health services, agricultural support, educational programs, and administrative procedures through institutions such as the SAT and Segalmex. The program aims to save citizens time by centralizing government assistance in a single location.
