Tierra del Fuego advances entrepreneurship program in Río Grande

The Government of Tierra del Fuego is advancing its “Crecer con Identidad: Innovación y raíces para el desarrollo local” program, recently conducting its second training module in Río Grande.

The initiative focuses on strengthening local entrepreneurship through training in triple impact, circular economy, and waste management. The program aims to help businesses improve internal processes, adopt sustainable practices, and use local cultural identity as a competitive advantage in their products and services.

Subsecretary of Territorial Coordination, Paula Japaz, noted that the training helps participants identify the environmental footprint of their resources and develop strategies for positive impact. Subsecretary of Indigenous Peoples and Cultural Diversities, Pamela Altamirano, reported that over 100 participants have engaged in the four-month program, which is a joint effort by the Ministries of Production and Environment, Citizen Wellbeing and Justice, and Economy.
