Local Halloween traditions return in Brookside and at Trinity University

Various community and campus Halloween traditions are scheduled for October 31. In Brookside, the Brookside Business Association will host its annual Trick or Treat Street from 4 to 6 p.m. at the historic Brookside Shops. Local businesses will participate by handing out candy to costumed families.

At Trinity University, the annual Halloween on Oakmont tradition will take place at 7 p.m. This student-driven event features university vice presidents and the provost handing out candy to students along Oakmont Court. The event is coordinated by the Division of Student Affairs, the Dean of Students Office, and the Student Government Association (SGA) to provide a social alternative to traditional party scenes.
