Torino to host Global Skills Summit 2026

The European Training Foundation (ETF) will host the Torino Global Skills Summit from November 23 to 25, 2026, at the OGR in Turin. The international event aims to address the critical role of skills in driving economic growth, social inclusion, and European competitiveness.

The summit will bring together European institutions, ministers, labor and education policymakers, international organizations, and experts from the European Union and partner regions, including the Western Balkans, Eastern Europe, the Mediterranean, Central Asia, and Africa. Key discussions will focus on preparing the workforce for rapidly changing professions and preventing skill shortages from hindering innovation and social cohesion.

The event is part of the European Union’s Union of Skills strategy, which seeks to enhance education quality, promote lifelong learning, and facilitate the recognition of qualifications across borders.
