Local hospitals in Japan host community health festivals

Various hospitals in Japan are organizing community health festivals to promote wellness and local engagement.

In Sagamihara, Kanagawa Prefecture, Sagamihara Kyodo Hospital will hold its 23rd Health Festival on November 3. The event, themed “Our health supported by the community,” features health consultations, medical equipment demonstrations, and lectures related to World Diabetes Day. The festival also includes musical performances, science shows, and sales of local agricultural products.

In Nantan, Kyoto Prefecture, Sonobe Hospital is scheduled to host the Sonobe Hospital Festival on November 1. The program includes physician lectures, stage performances by local residents, and the sale of food and vegetables.
