In Viterbo, the via Signorelli laundry facility is facing significant degradation. Despite restoration work completed in 2023, the site is currently being used as a makeshift shelter by homeless individuals. Reports indicate the presence of sleeping bags, food waste, and human excrement, leading to unsanitary conditions and foul odors. Critics have pointed to a lack of maintenance and oversight by the local administration following the facility's renovation.
