Local infrastructure and cultural projects advance in Foligno and Jesi

Local administrative developments are underway in the Italian regions of Umbria and Marche. In the hamlet of Sant’Eraclio, Foligno, construction has begun on a new sidewalk in Piazza Gramsci near the Castello dei Trinci. This project follows years of requests from residents and business owners to address deteriorating pedestrian infrastructure. Local officials have also allocated funds for various community improvements, including Casa Serena, a school gymnasium, Casa Castellana, and the Church of San Pietro.

In Jesi, the installation of new signage has commenced at the Palazzo della Signoria and the Biblioteca Planettiana. This initiative is the final phase of the ‘Frequenze e scene di pace’ project, which aims to enhance the library’s role as a cultural hub for young people. The project includes a new brand identity, improved wayfinding systems to increase accessibility, and updated audio-visual equipment to facilitate cultural events in the Palazzo della Signoria’s courtyard.
