Local infrastructure and energy issues reported in Italy

In Montalto Carpasio, the municipality has completed an initial extraordinary maintenance phase, resurfacing approximately 250 meters of road leading to the hamlets of Fontanili, Glori Superiore, and Roggeri. The association ‘Amici dei 3 Borghi’ expressed satisfaction with the intervention by Mayor Mariano Bianchi, noting that while the hamlets have few permanent residents, they experience high seasonal traffic. The municipality plans to complete the remaining works in 2027, though the association is now calling for similar attention to road sections under the jurisdiction of Molini di Triora.

In Tortolì, the local administration is preparing to seek damages following a summer of significant energy service disruptions. Frequent power surges, prolonged outages, and blackouts during the peak tourist season caused widespread issues for residents and businesses, including damaged appliances and lost reservations. The municipality has appointed a legal expert to evaluate potential claims involving administrative and civil liability, as local entrepreneurs report that the instability has threatened the viability of their businesses.
