Local infrastructure and greening projects underway in Osijek and Strunjan

In Osijek, Croatia, the City of Osijek and the Industrial Quarter Council have completed a 120,000 euro project near the Home for the Elderly on Drinska Street. The improvements include 17 new parking spaces, 120 meters of pedestrian walkways, and 120 meters of roadway with drainage systems. The project aims to improve traffic flow and connectivity within the residential area.

In Strunjan, Slovenia, the Municipality of Piran and the Strunjan Landscape Park are launching a 1.3 million euro project near the Stjuža lagoon. The initiative will organize 286 parking spaces into circular layouts featuring green islands. The project includes planting 105 trees and 424 shrubs to create approximately 3,100 square meters of green space and Mediterranean vegetation.
