Local infrastructure and historical sites inaugurated in Italy

In Casale sul Sile, the municipal port has been officially named Largo Benedetto Stefanato. The inauguration ceremony took place on September 4, 2026, attended by Mayor Stefania Golisciani and Treviso Provincial President Marco Donadel. The naming honors Stefanato, a local historical boatman and military veteran who received the Silver Medal for Military Valor in 1919.

In Sanluri, the “Sa Battalla” road has reopened following the reconstruction of via Orsini. Mayor Alberto Urpi inaugurated the route, which now serves as a link between local history and tourism. The road is part of a regional cycling path project connecting Samassi to Barumini. The project, supported by a 600,000 euro funding, involved replacing the basalt paving to improve safety and reduce noise for residents and businesses.
