Local infrastructure investments announced in Lugoj and Lerești

The municipality of Lugoj has secured approximately 5 million lei in European funding to modernize a green square located at the intersection of Caraiman and Aurel Vlaicu streets. The project, announced by Mayor Călin Dobra, aims to transform the area into a safe, modern recreational space featuring new pathways, children's playgrounds, and the removal of hazardous trees.

In Lerești, the local administration led by Mayor Marian Toader is implementing over 1.04 million lei in infrastructure improvements. This includes approximately 930,000 lei for modernizing street lighting through a contract with Urbioled SRL. Additionally, the municipality has initiated documentation for a new 600-meter pedestrian sidewalk on the Lerești–Voina county road (DJ 734).
