Municipalities in Argentina and Chile announce infrastructure projects

Various municipal and provincial authorities in Argentina and Chile have announced or completed significant infrastructure projects aimed at improving public services.

In Quilmes, Argentina, officials inaugurated the expansion of Technical School No. 1 (EEST Nº 1), which includes new classrooms, administrative spaces, and a multipurpose hall. The project was completed through coordination between the Municipality and the Province of Buenos Aires following the cessation of national government funding. Additionally, work is progressing on 28 new homes and urban infrastructure in the La Odisea neighborhood, reaching over 90% completion.

In Rancagua, Chile, the Municipal Council unanimously approved 170 million pesos for the acquisition of a property on Avenida República de Chile. This site will house a new municipal veterinary clinic, named after Dr. Alejandra González, featuring specialized equipment to improve local pet care services.

In Talca, Chile, the municipality is investing 3.5 billion pesos to normalize and expand the José Dionisio Astaburuaga health center (Cesfam). The project is currently in the bidding phase and will involve construction and new equipment to provide improved healthcare services to the northern sector of the city.
