Local infrastructure projects underway in Kemer and Izmir

In Kemer, the municipality is finalizing the conversion of an old municipal service building in the Çamyuva neighborhood into a nursery and daycare center. Under the “If there is education, there is a future” project, preparations including the installation of furniture, kitchen equipment, and dining facilities are in the final stages. Kemer Mayor Necati Topaloğlu, an emeritus teacher, inspected the site alongside local officials and philanthropist İrfan İnegöl.

In Izmir, the Metropolitan Municipality is renovating a long-unused building in the Yamanlar district of Karşıyaka to serve as a neighborhood center and library. Following instructions from Mayor Cemil Tugay, the Department of Science Affairs has undertaken extensive renovations, including mechanical and electrical upgrades, interior painting, and structural repairs. Landscaping and garden improvements are also being completed to prepare the facility for public use.
