Local initiatives in Spain feature puzzle design and cancer solidarity

In Palencia, the design project LaMoonDa, led by Daniel Martínez and his daughter Laura, has spent five years developing unique, custom-designed puzzles. The initiative grew from a curiosity about the manufacturing process and was encouraged by members of the World Puzzle Championship organization. The duo focuses on applying their professional design and packaging expertise to create high-quality illustrations for the puzzles.

In San Esteban de la Sierra, the community held its first solidarity march against cancer. Organized by the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC) in collaboration with local authorities and businesses, the event aimed to support patients and their families. The march included a community gathering in the Plaza Mayor featuring music and a public meal, integrated into the local Cristo festivities.
