Local Italian Festivals: Val Brevenna Picnic and Guardiaregia Mountain Celebration

On Sunday, 2 August, the Consorzio Rurale di Tonno organized a two‑hour “Pic‑nic ai Mulini” walk in the Val Brevenna. Participants followed the Rio di Tonno from the village of Tonno through Casareggio, visiting the remains of historic water‑mills before enjoying a countryside picnic with local products. The outing cost €10 for the meal and €5 for the guide, with registrations due by 17:00 via phone.

The “Festa della Montagna 2.0” will take place at La Piana del Perrone in Guardiaregia on 8–9 August 2026. The event, run by the cultural association Ru Picciriglij and the municipality, features artisan stalls, nature‑inspired art, Molise food, and games from a Cesena team. A DJ set by Charles Papa is scheduled for Saturday evening, and a free shuttle runs from the Le Cupolette hotel parking every 30 minutes.
