Local Italian municipalities approve funding for infrastructure and social welfare

In Perledo, the City Council has approved a budget variation to fund several priority local projects. The most significant allocation is 170,000 euros for the Caravino access road, which includes 100,000 euros in funding from the Lombardy Region. This project aims to improve accessibility and emergency vehicle passage. Additionally, 55,000 euros have been allocated for the restoration of a local football field, and 25,000 euros are designated for the roof of the Agueglio Shrine, pending property transfer to the municipality.

In Corigliano-Rossano, approximately 400,000 euros will be allocated over two years to support vulnerable populations through the ‘Buono Servizio’ (Service Voucher) program. The first installment will consist of roughly 226,000 euros. Funded by the Calabria Region via the FESR FSE+ 2021-2027 program, these vouchers are intended to facilitate access to social assistance, care, and inclusion services for the elderly, people with disabilities, and minors in vulnerable social or family situations.
