Local legislative bodies in Soriano and Marisol address community projects

In Soriano, Uruguay, the Legislation and Petitions Commission reviewed a request from the Intendencia de Soriano regarding a 15-year lease for two units in the Palmar Housing Complex for Nicolás Perera. The commission scheduled a meeting with Perera for September 1 to discuss his tourism entrepreneurship proposal. Additionally, representatives from the cable company CV10 met with the commission to discuss an ordinance regarding the control and maintenance of public space cabling.

In Marisol, Argentina, the Marisol Neighborhood Board (JVM), led by President Hernán Aguirre, has requested a communication minute from the Deliberative Council. The request seeks information on the status of a proposed multifunctional track project. The project was sent to committee by the Fuerza Patria and Libertad Avanza blocs, despite prior approval from the UCR bloc. The JVM emphasized that political differences should not obstruct community projects intended for sports and recreation.
