Local markets in Eskişehir and Diyarbakır see seasonal activity

In Eskişehir, residents are flocking to the Çarşamba Market, known locally as ‘Çarpa’, to purchase winter clothing. Vendors report high demand for coats and tracksuits, noting that their prices are significantly lower than retail stores. Some merchants stated that items such as tracksuits, which cost between 1,000 and 1,400 TL in stores, are sold for approximately 400 TL at the market, often consisting of export surplus stock.

In Diyarbakır, the cooling weather has increased activity in the offal market as citizens prepare traditional winter dishes like kelle paça, kibe, and mumbar. While vendors have noted a 30% increase in prices compared to the previous period, sales remain high. Current prices in the market include 250 TL for sheep head and feet, and 120 TL per kilogram for various types of sausage and tripe.
