Local mayoral candidates announced in Duplek and Radovljica

In Slovenia, new mayoral candidates have announced their bids for local leadership in the municipalities of Duplek and Radovljica.

Damijan Kaučič has entered the race for mayor of Duplek. He has identified the municipality's debt, which stands at approximately 942 euros per inhabitant, as a primary challenge. Kaučič aims to implement a more modern and rational approach to managing the municipal budget, focusing on securing European and state funds rather than relying on new credits to accelerate local projects.

In Radovljica, Ladislav (Slavko) Mežek has announced his candidacy with the support of the Prerod party. Mežek, a musician and educator, advocates for the balanced development of the entire municipality, including urban, suburban, and rural areas. His platform emphasizes improved mobility and public transport, road safety, the development of boutique tourism, and increased transparency in public service.
