Local municipal committees in Greece schedule meetings

The Municipal Committee of Loutraki has scheduled a public meeting for October 23, 2026. The agenda includes the acceptance of a donation from the ‘Vardinoyianni Foundation’, proposals for modifying the internal service organization to create new permanent staff positions, and discussions regarding a programmatic agreement with the development organization ‘DIMOPRAKTOS A.E.’ for technical support in the Loutraki building service. Additionally, the committee will consider the approval of the Municipal Emission Reduction Plan for Loutraki, Perachora, and Agioi Theodoroi.

Separately, the Municipality of Almopia has called for an emergency online session of its Municipal Committee on October 21, 2026. Key agenda items include the urgent hiring of temporary staff for preschool education and environmental/sanitation departments. The committee will also review legal appeals and address the need to re-approve studies related to the reconstruction of the Theodoraki dam and the construction of a water transport network from the existing dam to the Theodoraki irrigation network.
