Local music festivals and rock club performances held in Serbia and Romania

Various local musical events and community-driven music projects have recently taken place in Serbia and Romania.

In Uzdin, the inaugural ‘Uzdinski Fest’ brought together multiple generations on August 29. The festival featured performances by local groups Remus Band and Vibe, alongside Vitamin C and Forza. Remus Band, a seven-member project, performed a diverse repertoire including Romanian, Serbian, Gypsy, rock, and pop music.

In Focșani, Romania, the CNU Rock Club of the ‘Unirea’ National College is scheduled to perform at Crângul Petrești on September 12. Organized by the Vrancea Cultural Center, the event features four bands with distinct styles: THE DILLUVIAN MECHANISM, IN. DECISIV, LAST TIMERS, and CHASM. The club, which originated through the BeatAgora national music education program, has grown from a school initiative into a community of musicians performing various local festivals.
