Sines to host fado and saxophone fusion concert

The Centro de Artes de Sines will host the musical performance ‘Sopros e Guitarradas’ on August 13 at 21:30. The event features André Baptista, a musician known for his connection to fado and Portuguese music, alongside Kajó Soares.

The concert marks the presentation of Kajó Soares’ first studio album, which explores new dimensions of fado by incorporating contemporary elements such as the saxophone. The performance aims to blend traditional fado roots with modern influences.

Other musicians participating in the event include Gustavo, Filipe Núncio, and Gonçalo Cercas. While entry to the concert is free, attendees must collect tickets in advance to secure a seat.
