Local music workshops and events held in Bautzen and Ismaning

Youth in Bautzen are participating in the second phase of the “Global Village – MEIN BAUTZEN ROCKT!” workshop. Held at Steinhaus Bautzen from October 21 to 23, 2026, the program allows participants aged 14 to 20 to develop an original show incorporating music, theater, and media. The project, organized with the Freiraum Syndikat, focuses on how the city sounds from a youth perspective, culminating in a public performance.

In Ismaning, the “Rocktober” music event recently premiered at the Bürgerhaus. Initiated by Joey “Gandy” Gandenberger, the two-night event featured six bands performing various genres, including indie and classic rock. The initiative aims to provide a permanent platform for student bands to perform alongside established local musicians.
