Montenegro officials inspect regional infrastructure and education projects
Officials in Montenegro are conducting site visits to oversee various regional development and infrastructure projects. In Bar, Minister of Education, Science and Innovation Anđela Jakšić-Stojanović and Mayor Dušan Raičević inspected educational facilities. They reviewed the reconstruction and adaptation of physical education halls at 'Jugoslavija' and 'Srbija' primary schools, projects funded by the Municipality of Bar exceeding 1.2 million euros. Additional work is underway at 'Mrkojevići' school, with a third project planned for 'Meksiko' school.
In Herceg Novi, Minister Jovan Vučurović met with Mayor Stevan Katić to discuss capital projects, including the development of the 'Dr Simo Milošević' Institute, Meljine Hospital, and HTP Boka. Discussions also covered the city's successful tourism season and the need for synergy between local and national government. Additionally, officials in Nikšić discussed agricultural development and rural support for local villages during a meeting at the University of Novi Sad.
In Nikšić, agricultural engineer Ivan Krstajić presented research on the challenges facing rural areas, focusing on connecting young producers to tourism and improving quality standards to prepare for Montenegro's EU accession.
