Local park development projects underway in Düzce and Yüksekova

In Düzce, Mayor Dr. Faruk Özlü is overseeing a comprehensive transformation project in the Kültür neighborhood. The initiative aims to integrate a 46-decare area, including the Central Park, a monument, and surrounding green spaces, into a single, cohesive architectural design known as ‘Merkez Park’. The goal is to ensure the surrounding parks complement the unique architectural identity of the monument without creating physical barriers between sections.

In Yüksekova, construction is progressing on a 4,000-square-meter park in the Güngör neighborhood. Supported by businessman Sabri Özel, the project is being managed by the Yüksekova Municipality to provide social spaces for the large local population. Following landscaping and ground preparation, workers have begun installing playground equipment and other park amenities to create a safe environment for children and families.
