Local park revitalization and lighting projects underway in Poland
Various local infrastructure and beautification projects are being implemented in Polish municipalities. In Promnik, part of the Strawczyn commune, a revitalization of a historic park is in progress. This project, valued at over 1.3 million PLN, is funded almost entirely by external sources. The works include the construction of mineral-surface paths, new lighting, and the installation of small architecture such as benches, trash cans, and information boards.
In Kutno, the park by the Ochnia river has seen increased activity following the installation of light decorations. Funded through the Kutno Civic Budget, the installations include colorful light shapes like butterflies and arches. Residents have reported that the new lighting has made the area more attractive for evening walks and improved perceived safety in the park.
