Nerviano: 14-year-old identified after hitting woman on crosswalk
Local police in Nerviano and Pogliano Milanese have identified a 14-year-old boy as the person responsible for hitting a woman on a pedestrian crossing on October 28. The incident occurred near the Villoresi traffic light while the woman was walking her daughter to school.
According to investigators, the boy was riding a moped and allegedly bypassed a line of stopped vehicles to cross the street, striking the woman. Although the boy also fell during the impact, he reportedly got up and fled the scene without providing assistance. The victim was treated at a hospital and received a ten-day medical prognosis, while her daughter was uninjured.
Authorities identified the minor through a combination of witness testimony and surveillance footage. A citizen reported seeing the boy on a phone call immediately after the accident, mentioning that he had hit a woman but that the child was safe. This testimony proved decisive in helping officers track the resident of Nerviano.
