Local political disputes arise in San Isidro and Salta

In San Isidro, members of the Fuerza Patria party have called for a public debate regarding the Barrancas de Alvear real estate project. Council members Federico Meca, Débora Ceballos, Diego Montivero, and Estafanía Rivadula criticized the decision by Mayor Ramón Lanús and allied blocks to keep the project within the Urban Planning Commission rather than bringing it to the Deliberative Council.

Opposition members argue that the current management prioritizes real estate development over community interests. Residents of Martínez and Acassuso have expressed concerns regarding the construction of multi-family housing in a low-density area, citing potential negative impacts on traffic, local trees, and the coastal landscape.

In Salta, Councilwoman Florencia León has called for a judicial investigation into the appointment of Pablo Marcial at School 7160. Allegations suggest Marcial, the Coordinator of the Open Schools Program, received two simultaneous salaries from the same institution—one as a school assistant and another as a special teacher. León criticized the provincial executive branch for a lack of transparency and for failing to provide public access to information regarding the educational system.
