Local political disputes arise in Sesto San Giovanni and San Miniato

In Sesto San Giovanni, ARCI Milano has expressed frustration over a long-standing debt dispute regarding the Carroponte site. The association reports that while it intends to repay a debt exceeding 300,000 euros, the municipal administration refuses to accept a sustainable installment plan, limiting payments to a maximum of 24 installments. ARCI Milano alleges that the local right-wing administration is using the financial situation as a political tool to criticize previous left-wing management rather than seeking a practical resolution.

In San Miniato, Francesca Bruni of Fratelli d'Italia has criticized the local administration regarding the degraded paving on Via Augusto Conti. The municipal government has reportedly delayed repairs, citing the need to maintain school traffic and student transit. Bruni has dismissed this reasoning as an unacceptable excuse to mask a lack of urban planning and investment, calling for the implementation of alternative traffic routes to allow for necessary restoration work.
