Local political disputes arise in Soria and Coslada

In Soria, the People's Party (PP) has denounced significant delays in municipal aid programs. Spokesperson Belén Izquierdo criticized the City Council for failing to resolve applications for micro-enterprise creation and rental assistance. Some entrepreneurs have reportedly waited four years for subsidies that were intended to support new business initiatives, with payments for certain projects not expected until the fourth quarter of 2026.

In Coslada, the PP has launched a signature campaign, both physical and online, to demand improved cleanliness and maintenance in the city. Spokesperson Paco Becerra accused the current administration of allowing streets, parks, and public spaces to fall into disrepair despite high tax levels. The campaign aims to pressure the City Council to address issues such as overflowing containers and accumulated waste in various neighborhoods.
