Various regional cultural and civic updates in Italy

Several regional developments are occurring across Italy. In Cuneo, Coldiretti has reported significant soil consumption, noting that 262 hectares were lost in one year, ranking the province first in Piedmont for new soil consumption. Additionally, a conference regarding the architectural history of Cuneo, focusing on Liberty, Eclectic, and Art Deco styles, is scheduled for November 20.

In Modena, the Provincial Council approved an agenda to protect the territorial role of equality counselors, opposing a centralized approach in upcoming EU directive implementations. In Naples, the Italian Urban Games will take place from November 5 to 8 at the PalaVesuvio.

Cultural initiatives include the presentation of 18th-century dialect comedies in Verucchio and a multidisciplinary project in Norcia titled ‘Un ponte di Bellezza’ to celebrate the eighth centenary of Saint Francis of Assisi. Meanwhile, in Valcanneto, the association ‘Iura et Natura’ is calling for an immediate suspension of forest cutting in the Valcanneto woods.
