Local political events scheduled in Sillenbuch and Schirmitz

Local political organizations in Germany are hosting community events on October 11. In Sillenbuch, the SPD Sillenbuch Heumaden Riedenberg is organizing a cultural breakfast focused on the theme of integration. The event will feature Ergun Can, a former member of the Stuttgart city council, who will discuss his book, ‘Vom Bosporus zum Nesenbach. Und zurück? Die Geschichte einer erfolgreichen Integration’, which explores his personal journey and political experiences regarding integration.

In Schirmitz, the CSU is organizing a community walk to inform citizens about local development and infrastructure. Mayor Ernst Lenk will lead the tour, highlighting completed projects such as the 3.5 million euro renovation of the multipurpose hall. Future plans to be discussed include the renovation of the school sports field, the creation of a ‘Ganztagsraum Natur’ for outdoor school activities, and the fifth phase of urban development projects involving infrastructure and sewage systems.
