Local road and transit changes in Śrem and Warsaw
In Śrem, Poland, municipal bus services will undergo changes starting November 2, 2026, due to the ongoing renovation of the Daniel Kęczycki Bridge. Most routes for lines 6, 9, 13, 17, and 18 will return to their original paths instead of using the bypass. However, specific trips for line 6 (18:10), line 13 (05:15 and 21:43), and line 17 (18:15) will continue to use the bypass. The bus stop at Piłsudskiego Street will be reinstated. Passengers traveling across the bridge must walk to the Mickiewicza I or Kilińskiego I stops, and schedules include an additional 10-minute buffer for this transit.
In Warsaw, roadwork is scheduled for Smoleńskiego Street between Marymoncka and Parandowskiego, beginning Tuesday, October 20. The renovation aims to repair surface damage and improve safety. The section will be completely closed to drivers and pedestrians until Friday, October 23, at 6:00 AM. Residents are advised to relocate vehicles from the area to avoid towing at their own expense.
