Local running events announced in Maranhão and Roraima

Two regional running events have opened registration in Brazil. In São Luís, Maranhão, the II PGE-MA Race is scheduled for November 8, 2026. Organized by the State Attorney General's Office (PGE-MA) in partnership with the Association of State Prosecutors of Maranhão (ASPEM), the event features a 2.5 km walk and 5 km and 10 km runs. Registration is available via the Central da Corrida platform, with free entry for people with disabilities and discounted rates for seniors.

In Boa Vista, Roraima, the Public Ministry of Roraima (MPRR) is hosting its 5th annual race to celebrate the institution's 35th anniversary. The event includes a 5 km main race and a children's race for ages 2 to 12. The main race is set for February 28, with cash prizes of up to R$ 500 for top finishers. Registration is open through the Inscricoes Roraima website, offering discounts for seniors, people with disabilities, and individuals with autism.
