Local running events held in Wejherowo and Ruda Śląska

Various community running events took place in Poland on September 12, 2026, focusing on local integration and physical activity.

In Wejherowo, the thirteenth edition of ‘Wejherowo Biega’ drew approximately 500 participants. The event offered four color-coded routes of varying lengths, ranging from 300 meters to 5 kilometers, designed to accommodate different ages and fitness levels. Organizers utilized the Wejherowo Resident Card for registrations to streamline the process.

In Ruda Śląska, the ‘Bieg Wiewiórki’ (Squirrel Run) gathered runners and nordic walking enthusiasts. The event emphasized recreational participation over competitive results, involving families and various age groups. Vice President Anna Krzysteczko attended the event, noting the positive atmosphere and announcing a final race scheduled for October.
