Local running events scheduled in Dominican Republic and Chile

A delegation of 30 runners from the TrotadoreSR running school will participate in the DEGARITAO Fest on October 25 in Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic. Held at the La Barranquita sports complex, the event features 5 and 13-kilometer routes. The group aims to promote physical health, discipline, and community through the sport.

In Chile, the Club Revolución Deportiva de Ovalle is preparing for the sixth edition of the Corrida XC-RD on November 15 in Cerrillos Pobres. The cross-country event includes a competitive 10-kilometer course and a 2.5-kilometer family route. Organizers intend to maintain the event's local, self-managed character, providing a rural running alternative for the community.
