Local seasonal events announced in Gütersloh and Burg

Various seasonal activities have been scheduled for the upcoming holiday season in Gütersloh and Burg, Germany.

In Gütersloh, Gütersloh Marketing is hosting the ‘Gütersloher Genussmomente’ on November 28, 2026. This culinary walking tour features a three-course winter menu served at three different restaurants: Fritz, Bankery, and Parkhotel. The event includes a guided tour of the city's historical landmarks led by Klaus Gottenströter.

In Burg, the Tourist Information office is offering horse-drawn carriage rides on December 12, 2026, as part of the Altstadtweihnacht festivities. These approximately 30-minute tours will travel through the old town and include historical commentary from trained guides.
