Local security patrols and community leadership updates in Indonesia

In Tangerang, military personnel from Koramil 02/Batuceper and Koramil 07/Pondok Aren conducted night patrols alongside various community support components. The initiative, involving local village officials, Linmas, and youth organizations, aims to maintain public order and prevent security disturbances by monitoring potential gathering points and advising youth to avoid late-night activities.

In Ciamis, West Java, the Head of Cibadak Village, Margo Suwono, officially inaugurated 38 neighborhood heads (RT) and 8 community heads (RW) for the 2026-2031 term. Following their inauguration, the officials received technical guidance on community service. The training included sessions from the Ciamis National Zakat Agency (Baznas) regarding the roles of local leaders in managing social welfare and community protection through zakat and infaq programs.
