Local senior representatives honored or appointed in German municipalities

In Teublitz, Robert Wutz was officially honored at the town hall for his long-standing service as the chairman of the senior citizens' advisory board. Mayor Thomas Beer praised Wutz for building the city's senior services from their inception in 2012 into a successful program, noting his ability to assemble a reliable team.

In Kissing, Manfred Paul has been elected as the new senior representative following a vacancy. Paul, a member of the FDP, was proposed by the CSU faction and won the vote with 18 to 4. He succeeds Peter Wirtz, who stepped down after leaving the municipal council. Paul expressed his commitment to the role, citing personal experiences caring for his late mother as a motivation for supporting elderly citizens.
