Local service disputes in Villa Carlos Paz and regional water utility
In Villa Carlos Paz, Councilman Daniel Ribetti has formally requested information regarding the city's urban transport system. Ribetti raised concerns over the reliability of nighttime bus services, questioning the actual schedules and frequencies provided to passengers. He noted that while the municipal system receives approximately 190 million pesos monthly, there is a discrepancy in vehicle availability; for instance, only nine units may appear in the tracking app when fourteen are expected to be operational.
Separately, the Cooperativa de Obras Sanitarias (COS) addressed reports of unusually high utility bills. Manager Emiliano Bonifazi clarified that the recent implementation of an open-source system helped identify high consumption levels, which were largely attributed to internal leaks within residents' properties rather than billing errors. The cooperative stated it is working with members on a case-by-case basis to provide payment facilities for those affected by these sudden increases.
