Local solidarity initiatives held in Bisceglie and Vitorchiano

Various local solidarity initiatives in Italy have recently focused on community engagement and fundraising for charitable causes.

In Bisceglie, the Rotary Club organized the “A tavola con… il mondo” event to benefit Caritas Cittadina. The initiative aimed to raise funds for a new kitchen for the Caritas headquarters. The event featured cultural exchange through international cuisine and testimonies from members of the Oasi 2 community, intended to foster dialogue and move beyond stereotypes regarding immigrants.

In Vitorchiano, the fifth edition of “Vitorchiano con il Cuore” concluded with significant local participation. Organized by the municipality in collaboration with the parish Caritas, the event included a jazz concert and a solidarity dinner. All proceeds from the weekend's activities are dedicated to supporting those in need and local social services.
