Local sports facilities face criticism in Gandia and Cullera
The People's Party (PP) has issued criticisms regarding the maintenance of municipal sports facilities in Gandia and Cullera as the new sports season approaches.
In Gandia, local PP councilor David Ronda denounced the state of several facilities, claiming that deficiencies have become a chronic issue. Specific problems were noted at the Guillermo Olagüe field regarding irrigation systems, the Roís de Corella Sports Center concerning the pool's retractable cover and changing rooms, and various issues at the Beniopa multi-purpose court, the rugby field, and the local skate park.
Similarly, in Cullera, the PP municipal group has demanded immediate action to repair the floor of the municipal pavilion. Spokesperson Alan Martínez stated that the local government has been aware of the surface deterioration since March, yet repairs have only been made provisionally with adhesive tape. The party is calling for a definitive solution before the start of official competitions.
