Local sports updates from Hamburg and Aalen

In Hamburg, the Königsspringer U10 chess team participated in the regional team championship held from September 26 to 27. Despite a strong effort, the team narrowly missed qualifying for the German Championship. The competition featured nine teams, including HSK and Blankenese. Individual performances included Fiete Fischer and Ray Toll securing wins, while Levin Schmidt and Christophe Kolesnikoff faced challenges with time management and match results.

In Hannover, members of Hockey-Club Suebia Aalen traveled for a preparation tournament from October 23 to 25. The delegation, consisting of 22 players and trainers, participated in both men's and women's groups to transition from field hockey to the higher intensity of indoor hockey. The club focused on team atmosphere and reintegrating into competitive play following the field season.
